The FestivALL Charleston Art Parade is a spectacular street spectacle that embraces creativity through music, dance, art and self expression. Visual artists, performers, musicians, bicyclists, roller skaters, civic groups and local organizations that celebrate creativity within the community are invited to work together or independently to create portable sculptures, mobile artworks, inflatable art, flags, and street performances.
The route will go down Court Street across Virginia Street and up Capitol Street to the Market. Local magician John Slicer will announce the parade as it passes Town Center Mall on Court Street, and Bill Kimmons will be the announcer for the Capitol Street crowd.
