This is the show that traces the career of America's greatest showman from 1835 to the year he joined with James A. Bailey to form the Greatest Show on Earth!
Barnum was the King of Humbug - the exaggeration of fact. This Broadway hit with music by Cy Coleman combines the magic of musical theatre with the spectacle of a story told thru the scenes and acts of a circus. We follow Barnum's life with his wife, Chairy, his living curiosities from Joice Heth, the oldest woman in the world to Tom Thumb, the smallest man and finally Barnum's first respectable attraction, Jenny Lind, the Swedish Nightingale. Surrounding the great showman are singers, dancers, clowns, jugglers, acrobats, a Ringmaster and an on-stage circus band.
Come early and enjoy the preshow entertainment outside the theatre.
