"FestivALL" Large Letter Project
Four foot tall letters spelling out “FestivALL” will be rolling around town. The letters will show the handiwork of 9 local and regional artists. These pieces of work will be available for public bid. The final auction will be on Sunday, June 27 at 3pm on the BB&T stage. Proceeds will be split between the artists and FestivALL. Special thanks to Bridgemont Community and Technical College.
If you’d like to bid on a letter, come find a "Letter" volunteer with the auction clipboard! Opening bid is $200. Increments of $20 after that. Bidding will start soon.
The proceeds are split 70% artist, 30% FestivALL Public Art Fund. It is our goal to have permanent artwork installed in the city in 2011, as part of FestivALL.
