FestivAll West Side Wiener Dog Race

The 4th Annual race will take place on June 19th with on-site registration from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Stonewall Jackson Middle School Front Lawn. Race proceeds benefit the Kanawha-Charleston Animal Shelter.

Entry fee for wieners is $20 and includes a collectable race T-shirt. Additional dogs registered are $15 each. Pre-registration is available until June 15th with information, forms and details available at www.charlestonwestsidewienerrace.com or by calling 304-541-5533. Race day admission is free to spectators but a donation of cash or dog food would be appreciated.

There will be something for everyone to enjoy on Charleston's West Side this year: music, food vendors, collectable wiener dog t-shirts, caricatures, the Great Barkini, a pet blessing, wieners splash pools, the vet corner, pet photos and a costume contest. Co-produced by the West Side Main Street Program.
