Description

Join us for 10 days of music, visual art, dance, theater and family fun in Charleston, WV! The city willl become a work of art from June 16-25, 2017. Stay tuned for announcements & a full schedule of over 80 city-wide events!

Main events of FestivALL include:

- Capitol Street Art Fair, June 24-25: shop from over 100 local & national artists at one of West Virginia's largest juried art fairs. Music & street entertainment throughout

- Children's Art Fair & KCPL Street Fair, June 24-25: Make-and-take activities, kids art sale, stage with child friendly performances, and other activities

- Mountain Stage, June 25: The home of live music on public radio for over 30 years, produced in West Virginia and distributed by NPR on over 180 stations. Recorded in front of a live audience, Mountain Stage features performances from seasoned legends and emerging stars in genres ranging from folk and blues to indie rock, synth pop, world music, and beyond. Last FestivALL they hosted Lucius, Margaret Glaspy, William Matheny, Rachael Yamagata and Adia Victoria.

- Wine and All That Jazz, June 24, Enjoy the fruit of West Virginia’s vineyards, fine food, and an array of performers. Last year, GRAMMY nominated Latin fusion Locos Por Juana and world-fusion group Tizer took the stage.

- Mayor's Concert, June 22: a longstanding musical tradition of FestivALL. Last year, The Temptations & The Four Tops brought Motown classics to the Clay Center

- Charleston Light Opera Guild production:  Charleston's best source of theatrical productions. Last year FestivALL partnered with the group as they presented The Wiz.

- Smoke on the Water Chili Cookoff, June 17: this annual event will celebrate its 19th season with dozens if the nation's top chili cooks. The event include kids' activities, frozen t-shirt & hot pepper eating contests, local food vendors & live music.

- River Queen Cruises, June 21-24: enjoy the sights and sounds of FestivALL from the water! Round trips between Haddad River Front Park & University of Charleston during Wine & All That Jazz, and 1 hour sightseeing tours.

- Dance Gala, June 21: FestivALL's main dance event. The collaboration of nationally recognized companies and local companies, where dancers take the stage for a spectacular display of the art of dance. Last year Ailey II captivated us!
