Spring Hill Cemetery Founders Day Program
Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum-- a quiet place of repose for the deceased and a restful, scenic park for the living----Spring Hill Cemetery is listed on the National Historic Register and is one of our city’s greatest assets. A beautiful place for walking, bird watching, and arboretum touring, Spring Hill provides spectacular views of Charleston and a recreational area for running, biking, hiking or a peaceful respite from life’s hectic pace. Our city’s history can be told through the headstones found here. This walking tour of Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum with reenactors of some of Charleston's Founding Figures will showcase historic monuments with an optional guided history and tree tour.
Parking is limited. KRT will provide free shuttle service between this event and The Carriage Trail Leaf Walk with a stop downtown at Taylor Books.
