Three Things: My First, My Favorite, My Future (season 3, episode1)
Three Things and FestivALL are proud to announce the 3rd season of Three Things!
To kick off our FeastivALL Fundraiser weekend, we will welcome three superstar guests to share their firsts, favorites and futures. This episode will include artist Charly Hamilton, Executive Chef Paul Smith, and Swift Level Farms Owner/Operator Tootie Jones.
Jennifer “Tootie” Jones – Farm Owner/Operator –Hailing from Greenbrier County Tootie returned to the Valley in 1973 and has been farming since. In 2015, she was recognized as an Agriculture Woman of the Year by the West Virginia Department of Agriculture; Swift Level Farm was named the 2014 Greenbrier District Conservation Farm, the runner-up for the 2014 WV State Conservation Farm of the Year, and the winner of the Zenith Award for community innovation and involvement.
Chef Paul Smith – Executive Chef – Chef Paul is a Culinary Institute of America graduate with work experience at The Ritz-Carlton, The Biltmore Hotel, The Windsor Club and University of Charleston, among others. Smith is the Corporate Chef at Buzz Food Service and a leading figure in WV's culinary community. Chef provides consultative services to restaurants including menu development, yeild testing, and food cost.
Charly Jupiter Hamilton – Artist – Charly, a WV Native, creates captivating acrylic canvases, hand-built sculptures, carved and painted wood wall reliefs and self-pulled block prints that combine the vitality of contemporary art with a rich and resonant figurative imagery. Highly expressive and known for a satirical visual humor; his conflicting colors, elaborate patterns and painterly casualness, come together in a kind of "new world primitivism"
Thursday, February 22 in the John L. Dickenson Family Homeowner Education and Community Center, located within Habitat for Humanity's ReStore. Don't miss it!

Three Things, produced by Jeff Shirley, presents 3 unique professionals discussing their first, favorite and future works, revealing a side not often seen by the public. Learn what inspires and drives some of your favorite area professionals. The 2017 season will include Gregg Oxley, Natalie Tennant, Ian Nolte, Kim Pauley and more.
