Christine Keller has been a FestivALL artisan for five years and sets the bar high for ALL of our jewelers every year with her “Chrizart Creations”. Her jewelry is known from coast to coast and around the world due to her high-quality designs and from the help of organizations like the Tamarack Foundation.
Chrisitne resides in Buckhannon, WV and has been creating unique pieces of jewelry in the heart of Appalachia since 1995. Her one-of-a-kind pieces range from bold statement pieces to whimsical lightweight aluminum jewelry made from a wide collection of materials and metals that are popular with customers of all ages.
Starting as a woodcarver, Christine quickly began experimenting with different materials which led her to create ‘glass geodes’ from melted glass and clay. From there she started working with wire wrapping, incorporating these geode-like pendants into other pieces, which then catapulted her to where she is today. Since 2009 Christine has expanded her line of work to include earrings, rings and bracelets made using different techniques like enameling, patination, hammering and soldering.
In addition to her local success, Christine is a contracted designer of a high profile jewelry line being manufactured and sold in stores across China due to a serendipitous meeting in October of 2016. You can read about her international endeavors here.
Christine will be at our FestivALL Fall Harvest Art Fair on Saturday, Oct. 21 & Sunday, Oct. 22. Stop by the Woman’s Club of Charleston to get an up-close look at these unique Chrizart Creations and to interact with Christine Keller herself.
