FestivALL's Preview Weekend will return to Haddad Riverfront Park & the Kanawha Boulevard May 23-27. Enjoy a weekend full of FREE live music, delicious food and endless artful adventures in #CWV !
Three Things, produced by Jeff Shirley, presents 3 unique professionals discussing their first, favorite and future works, revealing a side not often seen by the public. Learn what inspires and drives some of your favorite area professionals at this live monthly speaker series. Guests for this episode: Doug van Gundy, Joanna Tabit, and Rod Blackstone
The FREE live music concert series will kick off the weekend with their first concert of the summer. Enjoy local and national touring acts from water or land as they light up the Schoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park. Food & drink vendors will also be set up on the Kanawha Boulevard serving libations and delicious local fare. To kick-off summer, the Milwaukee based Charles Walker Band will light up the levee with their Neo-Funk, a fusion of funk infused rhythms with pop melodies.
For 35 years, this culinary event has been a favorite of visitors and locals. Enjoy tastes from local and regional restaurants at Four Points by Sheraton and the Kanawha Boulevard. The reimagined event is presented by The Health Plan and will return as an indoor/outdoor event welcoming foodies to taste it ALL. Entry is free, but TASTE tickets are $0.50 each ranging from 1-6 tickets. Also new to this year is a VIP ticket! Restaurants include Four Points by Sheraton, Adelphia Sports Bar & Grille, Black Sheep Burrito & Brews, Blue's BBQ, Ellen's Homemade Ice Cream, Eggs Will Roll, Fusion Teriyaki Grille, Gonzoburger & Mi Cocina de Amor, Recovery Sports Grill Charleston, Stuff It, Kona Ice, Ichiban Pan-Asian Cuisine, Big Joe's, Brick Salt Bar + Kitchen (Marriott), Bridge Road Bistro, Rock City Cake Company, Dem 2 Brothers & A Grill and more TBA.
Enjoy a FREE concert series that will take you to three ALTernative venues around Charleston, WV. Experience some of the best music coming out of WV at Haddad Riverfront Park, Sam's Uptown Cafe Lounge, and Starlings Coffee and Provisions (outdoor) starting immediately after Taste-of-ALL. Food vendors & other activities will comliment each venue. Artists include Of the Dell, Hello June, Corey Shields Trio, T-Mart Rounders, Poor Taters, and The Manor and Friends featuring John Inghram.
Experience an intimate songwriter's show with Ona at FestivALL's 2018 public art exhibition Brickscape. The band will play their hits that have been heard on Mountain Stage and across the nation, along with new songs from their upcoming album.
For the third year, FestivALL will partner with the Division of Culture & History as they celebrate the 42nd Vandalia Gathering. Make sure you check out the three day celebration on the Capitol grounds filled with traditional West Virginia music, food, crafts, exhibits, and much more! On Saturday, the Trolley will run on a continuous loop from the corner of Capitol & Virginia Street to the Capitol bus stop.
