Brickscape Artist Panel Discussion

Join Project Director, Jack O’Hearn and the four 2020 Brickscape artists as they discuss their involvement in this reimagined program, process work, inspirations, and more. Audience Q&A will be available throughout the program by typing your questions in to the chat feature on the live stream. This live event will be recorded and available to watch for the duration of FestivFALL.
Born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, Craig Deppen Auge is now based in Kansas City, Missouri. Often using salvage and found objects, his work explores the relationship between material, shape, color and gesture to activate a sense of deja vu. He has exhibited work throughout the U.S., and has been featured in several print and digital publications. He is currently a Charlotte Street Foundation Studio Resident in Kansas City, and an upcoming resident at Elsewhere Museum in Greensboro, North Carolina
Luisa Caldwell is a multidisciplinary artist working between public art, installation, drawing and craft. She has exhibited at Brooklyn Museum of Art, Boca Raton Museum of Art, CalState Los Angeles Silverman Gallery and Malakoff Center Paris. Caldwell has a BA in Art History from the University of Iowa and continued in the MFA sculpture program. She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY

Originally from West Virginia, but currently on the western side of the US, Nichole has been working as a muralist with a focus on bringing magical scenery into unexpected places. She graduated from WVSU with a concentration in drawing, and has been doing everything except illustration since.
