The Woodmere Village\, OH-born emcee is known for his electric stage performances and personal charm. Aich\, known as “The Headband Assassin\,” has performed across the country as a headliner and opening act for festivals\, self-funded tours\, and other events. In 2022\, Joey traveled to eight cities for his Aich Madness Spring Tour. He made appearances in NYC\, Los Angeles\, Chicago\, Huntington (WV)\, Detroit\, Denver\, also with his hometown performances in Cleveland and Columbus. DESCRIPTION:This headlining event features performances by The Charleston Ballet\, River City Youth Ballet Ensemble and JADCO Contemporary Dance Company. Guest artist/choreographer\, James Kinney\, will create a piece featuring dancers from the performance companies plus a piece for a duo of guest artists. Kinney’s work has bridged the worlds of dance and fashion\, having directed and choreographed innovative live events for Hermes of Paris. Having begun his career as a dancer and actor on Broadway in shows like Fosse and Sweet Charity. and with his choreographic roots in theater and concert dance\, Kinney has been named Broadway World’s Best Choreographer for several theatrical works. He created celebrated pieces for Broadway Cares/Fights AIDS\, choreographed over 40 celebrated musicals (including such favorites as Chicago\, Disney’s Newsies\, Kinky Boots\, The Addams Family\, West Side Story\, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Crazy for You)\, as well as several ballets in repertoire for New Jersey Ballet.  \n												\n												\n		Arisa was born in Tokyo\, Japan. Graduated from several international ballet schools before dancing at Tokyo Disney Resort. She then moved to the United States where she performed in ‘The King and I’ on Broadway\, ‘Radio City Christmas Spectacular\,’ and featured in a commercial for Kate Spade’s 2021 season. Arisa also performed  in the award-winning short film ‘The Game\,’ choreographed and directed by James Kinney. Weston Krukow\, a University of Arizona School of Dance awarded alumni\, has performed most notably with San Francisco’s Smuin Ballet\, Chicago’s Lyric Opera\, Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular\, Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera and an American in Paris. For television\, Weston has danced for Marguerite Derricks (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel)\, Camille Brown (Harlem)\, John Caraffa (The Gilded Age\, Westworld)\, Susan Mizner (Elsbeth)\, and Ben Stiller (Severance) to name a few. He produced\, choreographed\, and danced in BaseBallet: Into the Game which is a documentary film showcasing the athleticism of dance. This was featured on NBC Sports Bay Area\, Virgin and Alaska Airlines\, honored in a dozen film festivals nationwide\, and received five Emmy awards. DESCRIPTION:History will come alive at Spring Hill Cemetery during FestivFALL! \nCome celebrate Charleston’s rich history with the Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum on a choice of 2 self-guided walks. \nOne is wholly on asphalt\, with easy grades\, one is on grass with\, generally easy travel\, but rougher underfoot. \nBoth routes will have printed guide packed with information about graves and trees you will pass on the route. \nBoth routes will pass all the re-enactors\, and other vendors. \nHear the stories of prominent early Charleston residents told by reenactors and or their descendants. \nEnjoy magnificent views up and down the Kanawha Valley. \nTake in the parks charm\, monuments and flora and fauna with members of Tree and Bird experts the Friends of Spring Hill Park and Arboretum. \nInteractive Children’s Activities by WV Division of Forestry and Future Generations University \nMusic \nDogs on leash welcome. \nTrolley Rides from Downtown and on-site Parking. \nAttendance is free. \nSpring Hill Cemetery Park: https://www.springhillcemeterycharleston.com/ \nLike ‘Friends of Spring Hill Park and Arboretum’ on Facebook for Event and Cemetery Updates: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064851811671 \nKRT will also provide a bus shuttle that will run from the Carriage Trail Leaf Walk to Spring Hill Cemetery.
