Life on the Kanawha and Elk rivers: recreation, floods, barges and rivermen, Coast Guard, Sternwheel Regatta, bridges. Bring us your best river-related stories and add them to the Charleston oral history archive. (If you would like to record an oral history on another topic, that is fine, too.)

  • One hour interview with Eric Douglas

            Interviewee receives copy of interview.

            Excerpts may be used in an audio documentary.

Eric Douglas is a West Virginia author and documentarian. He has a degree in Journalism from Marshall University and a certificate in Documentary Arts from the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University. He has published a series of adventure novels as well as the West Virginia Voices of War documentary and a book on recording oral histories.
