Connecting young people with local performing arts
Ticket Town is a year-round program that provides tickets and supplemental grants to connect young people with local art experiences. Since October 2017, over 2,000 students have attended over 150 performances and exhibitions by groups like WV Symphony Orchestra, the Charleston Ballet, Charleston Light Opera Guild, and more. In addition to tickets to performances, reimbursement funding is also available to help support staff time, travels costs, and other related activities.
Ticket Town also offers occasional workshops with performing artists and groups to ensure ALL can access the incredible arts opportunities we have in Charleston, WV.
