    The Kiwanis Corporate Regatta is a miniature “yacht” race that raises much-needed funds for the Kanawha County Public Library and other Kiwanis charities. Corporate and civic leaders battle in elimination heats at this spirited event — the first boat to reach the distant shore of the library plaza pools, wins!

    FestivALL’s newest event is coming to Slack Plaza at City Center and Summers Street! Celebrate Memorial Day the FestivALL way—grab a hot dog, spread out a blanket on the lawn, and enjoy live entertainment on the main stage.
    Inspired by the feeling of a classic family cookout with a touch of old turn-of-the-century carnival charm, the day will also feature lively sideshows along Summers Street. Enjoy street performers, FREE make-and-take activities, tintype photography, tattoos, tarot readings, and local artists displaying and selling their work.

    Art-for-ALL is a juried exhibition open to children in grades Pre-K through 6th in several WV counties. The exhibition is open during KCPL hours on the fourth floor of the Kanawha County Public Library’s downtown branch.
