Some instruments will be provided, but bringing your own drum or shaker is recommended too. Chairs provided.

“Steel Magnolias” is a heartfelt and humorous play written by Robert Harling. From the mother-to-be to the mother-in-law, the jaded cop to the devastated BCS worker to the nurse and the convict and the women of society and poverty and your next door neighbor, the characters preach truth to society’s conveniently deafened ears.

Rise and Thrive: A Celebration of Resilience for Justice-Impacted Youth
Oct. 8 -24 Location: The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation, 178 Summers St. Viewers will enjoy this student exhibit through the windows from the sidewalk
YJAM is an annual campaign where advocates unite to organize digital and in-person events to raise awareness and inspire action for young people impacted by the justice system.
The exhibit will feature student artwork centered around the themes of resilience and personal strength and will be on display in the windows of The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation from Oct. 8-24.

Enjoy the arts outside during FestivFALL. Experience the charm of the Sunrise Carriage Trail amid fall foliage as you walk along the .65 mile trail taking in the sites and sounds of live music, art, dance, and more.

Be aware that the trail is a wide gravel way approximately one half mile long and has a moderately steep incline.
Dogs on leashes are welcome.
Location/Parking: Sunrise Carriage Trail, 746 Myrtle Rd. Parking is limited. We recommend parking at Farmer, Cline, Campbell PLLC at the top of the trail or across the bridge in downtown Charleston.
Parking is limited at the bottom of top of the trail, but a trolley will run continuously from 12:45PM-4:15PM taking attendees from the top of the Carriage Trail to the Founders Day Program at Springhill Cemetery before looping back through and stopping on Capitol Street.
