    Sunday, May 31 | 11am-4pm

     

    The Children’s Art Fair is two days of family fun! Enjoy make & take craft opportunities from invited artisans and volunteer groups and a stage with kid-friendly music and performances, games, and other activities for children of all ages.  On SATURDAY ONLY at the Kanawha County Public Library, enjoy the library’s used book sale and ‘Summer Library Club Saturday.’

    (FREE ENTRY)

    Make and Take Partners: Kanawha County Extension Master Gardeners, West Virginia Department of Tourism/State Arts Office, Scouting America, Read Aloud West Virginia, West Virginia 4-H, West Virginia Youth Symphony, The Clay Center, Buckskin Council, BSA, River City Youth Ballet, West Virginia Public Broadcasting, Charleston Dirty Birds  

    Sponsors: The Daywood Foundation, The Elliot Family Foundation, Go-Mart, The Kanawha County Public Library, Security America, United Bank, Vandalia Health, ZMM Architects and Engineers

    Location:  In front of the Main Library, 123 Capitol St. (used book sale inside the library)

    The Children’s Art Fair is the perfect two days of family fun! The Children’s Art Fair & Sale offers young artists the chance to interact with each other and the public. Invited artists and groups offer free make-and-take art activities, kid-friendly performances take the stage all day long, and children have the opportunity to participate in art instruction provided by FestivALL leading up to the fair sell their works.

    Enjoy the Kanawha County Public Library’s Summer Library Club Super Saturday event with art activities, a Used Book Sale, games and more from 12pm-4pm!

    Make sure to check out the Downtown Open, the KCPL’s SLC Suepr Saturday: Make Art Together, Capitol Street Art Fair, and more while you are there!
