    Enjoy Charleston’s free, Friday-night summer concert series set to the backdrop of the Kanawha River. Food and beverage vendors on site.

    Kentucky bluegrass band Magnolia Boulevard will open for No BS! Brass Band, a powerful brass band that infuses the spirit of New Orleans into its original East Coast modern funk.

    Arts Amplified presents Live Music Bingo at Fife Street Brewing featuring Shane Meade!

    A fun mash-up of live music and bingo — but with a twist. Instead of letters and numbers, you’ll mark spaces on your bingo card based on songs and unexpected moments during the performance. Free to play, all ages welcome, and multiple prizes up for grabs. Come for the tunes, stay for the game!

    Find your Zen before a day full of FestivALL activities.

    Join Beth Moore, Yoga Instructor at Folded Leaf Yoga & Wellness Center, for a 60-minute all-levels Yoga practice.

    Beginner friendly.

    Some mats and props will be provided. If you have your own, please bring them, and bringing a blanket is recommended!

    Sunday, June 1 | 11am-4pm

    The FestivALL Children’s Art Fair is the perfect two days of family fun! The Children’s Art Fair & Sale offers young artists the chance to interact with each other and the public. Invited artists and community groups offer free make-and-take art activities, kid-friendly performances take the stage all day long, and children have the opportunity to participate in art instruction provided by FestivALL leading up to the fair where they will get to sell their works.

    From 10am-3pm check out the Annual Kanawha County Public Library Used Book Sale! This year’s Annual Used Book Sale in conjunction with the Capitol Street Art Fair will be held at the Main Library in Room 311. All proceeds help fund library programs and services.

    Carriage Trail Walk

    Enjoy the arts outside during FestivALL! Experience the charm of the Sunrise Carriage Trail as you walk along the .65 mile trail, taking in the sights and sounds of live music, art, dance, and more.

    • The Rustic Mechanicals – West Virginia’s Shakespeare Troupe -“Jukebox Shakespeare on the Carriage Trail”

    Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leashes.

    Location/Parking: Sunrise Carriage Trail, 746 Myrtle Rd. Parking is limited. We recommend parking at Farmer, Cline, Campbell PLLC at the top of the trail or across the bridge in downtown Charleston.
    NOTE: the trail is a wide gravel way approximately one-half mile long and has a moderately steep incline.

  • Open Mic Night

    Open Mic Night at Folklore Music Exchange

    Musical acts, comedians, storytellers, magicians, ALL are welcome! Sign-ups take place the day of the event. There are 12 slots available with each performer getting 10 minutes. Full sound will be provided, along with an acoustic guitar and a keyboard, but feel free to bring your own instruments. Space is limited, no drumkits are allowed.

  • Downtown ArtWalk

    Stroll downtown Charleston, WV and visit unique businesses, featuring area artists showcasing their diverse talents! Enjoy street performers, live music, musical easels, and more as you move through the venues!

    Participating shops are located along Quarrier, Capitol, Lee, Summers and Hale streets in Downtown Charleston and feature a variety of art and goods – from paintings and sculptures to photography and music. Attendees can stroll along at their own pace, dip in and out of stores and stop off along the way for a bite to eat at a downtown restaurant.

    Downtown Charleston ArtWalk is a free, self-guided walking tour of Charleston’s shops, galleries and businesses featuring regional art, performances, crafts, fashion, antiques and much more. Typically held the third Thursday of each month, participating shops and organizations extend their hours for browsing, shopping and mingling.
