    Join us for an indigo dyeing class with Stephanie Woody – and leave with your own hand-dyed tote! We’ll cover the history, cultivation, and use of this valuable plant, and learn about a variety of dye plants you can cultivate in your own garden. All supplies included. No experience necessary.

    Offered at no cost to you — comparable workshops are typically $45 per person. Please be mindful with your reservation. If you are no longer able to attend, let us know so we can make sure the class stays full.

    Join us for a FREE workshop sponsored by FestivALL – Printing with LEGOs!

    Each participant will get a 5 in square LEGO base to work with. Using the base and a variety of shapes of LEGO dots we will make designs and print them in our old fashioned printing press!

    Ages 6+
    We will get messy! Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

    FestivALL Nature Weaving

    Celebrate Festivall in Charleston with a fun and free-form weaving workshop! In this make-and-take class, participants will create whimsical yarn trees using natural sticks and colorful fibers, inspired by the tree weaving technique of Eemamuiciki. All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary—just come ready to create and enjoy the process.

  • Attack Theatre Contemporary Dance Workshop

    Attack Theatre Contemporary Dance Workshop

    May 31 | 10am

    Join the professional dancers from Attack Theatre to learn phrases from their repertoire and most recent performance.

    This 90-minute class will begin with a warm-up, move across the space, and conclude with phrase material from Attack Theatre’s recent show Some Place Not Here. Participants will learn about the inspirations for Attack Theatre’s work, both embodied and conceptual, as well as their approach to dance making that highlights the artistic possibilities in everyday life.

    This class is open to all movers and dancers.

    “From Doodle to Delight – Vibrant Florals with Mel” Join us for this hour-long floral workshop led by local artist Melissa Doty! We will start with doodles of flowers and vases and end with the creation of a modern, vibrant floral still life!  Suitable for adults and children over 12, this workshop is a laid-back exercise in creativity, color and fun!
