The Organization:  Partnering with over 90 arts and community organizations and hundreds of local, regional, national and international artists each year, FestivALL, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is considered a premiere arts collaborator of Charleston, West Virginia. FestivALL is city-wide, multi-arts festival that serves its mission through its 10-day June FestivALL, Taste-of-ALL, FestivFALL, a monthly speaker series called Three Things, a Neighborhood Arts Program, and other programming throughout the year. Each year FestivALL includes over 100 events, and 300 performances and exhibitions from music, theatre, dance, visual art, humanities and more. These events take place in over 40 indoor and outdoor venues, and many events are free or low cost.

The People: FestivALL is a small team of 3! Talented in different arts’ sectors, we all care about our city, state, and the importance of arts experiences and opportunities in our communities. In addition, up to 4 interns will join the team from May-June, and 100’s of volunteers will help us turn Charleston, WV into a work of art.

The Atmosphere: Our office culture is a blend of professionalism and fun! While we take our jobs seriously, we want everyone involved to have a good time while we plan and produce our events. Whether you are planning for the area’s largest art fair, booking the summer’s biggest concert, or producing a city-wide foodie event, we work hard and play hard!

The Candidates: Of course we want the best, but that doesn’t always mean the smartest, most talented, or top student. FestivALL is seaking someone who is hard working, passionate about the arts and passionate about making our city and state a better place to live and play. If you are looking for a desk job, this internship is not for you.
