The Kiwanis Corporate Regatta is an exciting miniature “yacht” race that raises much needed funds for the Kanawha County Public Library and other Kiwanins charities. The competitors use super soaker water guns to power their model yachts across the fountain waters.

Curated and hosted by WV Poet Laureate, Marc Harshman, this year’s panel will feature award-winning journalists Eric Eyre, Erin Beck, and Amelia Ferrell Knisely.
Each will read selections from their works, share insights regarding the field of journalism and reflect upon the current state of the literary world. The authors will also be open to audience Q&A.
This project is being presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Humanities Council, a state affiliate for the National Endowment for the Humanities. Charleston’s ARTbus is back! The public will vote on their favorite June 14th – 23rd as part of FestivALL. Visit us at festivallcharleston.com to cast your vote through June 23rd for the design you want to see on a 29′ KRT bus.
This year, 3 students, 1 from Elementary, 1 from Middle and 1 from High School will have their designs chosen to be a part of Charleston’s first YOUTH ARTbus. The winners will be announced on Monday June 24th. This mobile mural will be unveiled at FestivFALL and begin hosting thousands of commuters.

A vibrant celebration of the creativity and spirit of FestivALL showcases a Parade of Porches! Local artists have been commissioned to create larger-than-life art installations at homes and businesses in the East End. Check out the Porch Parade map to create your own parade route.
Neighborhood stoops, porches and yards will turn into into works of art with stationary “floats”!
These “floats” will be commissioned by a variety of local artists, and community members are encouraged to decorate their homes with festive decorations to enhance to overall experience.
Parade goers can choose to drive or walk as they enjoy the FestivALL Porch Parade.

FestivALL presents Season 6, Episode 5 of Three Things! This special FestivALL episode will take place, for the first time in over a year, in-person!
This episode features business owner Paul Greco, artist Newman Jackson, and spiritual director Megan Lyon.
LOCATION: Red Carpet Lounge – parking lot (enter in between Red Carpet Patio & Tricky Fish)
Enjoy fellowship, the massive patio mural by Ian Bode and Brian Pickens, and listen to stories from 3 creative West Virginia professionals.
For this special episode, we will also welcome The Three Things to play some live tunes. John Inghram, Mark Davis and Michael Lipton will play the Three Things theme song + some bonus tunes to close out the evening.
FestivALL’s live monthly speaker series, Three Things, showcases three West Virginians who will share insight into their personal story of where they started, what they love, and where they are going.

Please note that this episode will be held outdoors, rain-or-shine, and has limited capacity.
As FestivALL nears, we understand that everyone has varying levels of comfort with being out in public. However you feel, so long as it includes being mindful of those around you and a willingness to work together, we’re ready for you.
In fact, we’ve built a hybrid experience specifically for these times. This episode will also be recorded and air on the FestivALL YouTube Channel by Friday June 18th.

The Children’s Art Fair is the perfect two days of family fun! The Children’s Art Fair & Sale offers young artists the chance to interact with each other and the public. Invited artists and groups offer free make-and-take art activities, kid-friendly performances take the stage all day long, and children have the opportunity to participate in art instruction provided by FestivALL leading up to the fair sell their works.

The Charleston Light Opera Guild will present Putting It Together, featuring the songs of lyricist/composer Stephen Sondheim from 13 of his musical theater productions and is a review with a plot.
A married couple hosts the husband’s young business associate, along with an uninvited guest, at a house party following a black-tie event. The 5 reflect on the complexities of modern relationships.
The Guild’s 5 member cast consists of Rudi Arrowood, Chris Terpening, Christa Navy, Cedrick Farmer and Jacob Fleck, staged by Nina Denton Pasinetti with a combo led by musical director/accompanist David Patrick. All cast and company members have received the coronavirus vaccine.
The Guild has proudly served the Charleston, West Virginia area since 1949.
WV Poet Laureate Marc Harshman along with fellow poets will create original, one-of-a-kind poems designed just for you!
